Just a quick note on the original question. I had an extra water pump from an earlier RV. I hooked up the pump to the fresh water inlet and another hose down in my extra water container. Hooked up the pump to my batteries and wa-la the pump quickly filled up the tank. My drain for the fresh tank is just up to the side of my water controls, so easy to see it when full.
Her is a photo of the pump hooked up to the "water in" connection.
