  We got tired of having to open the slide on screen door to open the door. So we tied a piece of string to the latch and drilled a small hole then put a key ring on the other end. Its working great. I dont know why it is sideways. |

Looks useful. There is at least one product out there that tries to solve the same problem: Camco Screen Door OpenerThey also make those sliding panels that have the round piece that slides down and up on a spring that does the same thing. |
