The spare tire underneath the trailer looks to be on a hoist. And it looks like the access to the hoist cable is on the rear right side. Is there a tool somewhere in the RV to insert into the hoist opening to raise and lower the tire? Or do I need to purchase something? Thanks, Larkin

Yes d You should have gotten what looks like long handled speed wrench with a socket welded on the end that fits the nut for the winch to lower and lift the spare tire ... Mine was in the storage compartment on the higher part of the compartment near the front along with the coiled hose to plug in for your out side water on the water control panel ... You should have not had to buy one, they should have provided such ! If you do not have it I'd go back to the dealer an ask for such...If the dealer states they never had one they are telling stories, more than likely they took your to provide one to another customer ... If dealer still won't give you one call customer service and tell them what your dealer has stated an ask if they would please provide one so you have a way to change a flat in case you have one... I may be wrong but didn't you have all your tires changed a while back, if so did you have the spare changed as well, if so, maybe the tire shop may have not put yours back into your trailer after swapping out your spare for the new tire ... In my old 5th wheel I had one like what you should have, it was used to adjust the main slide if needed, more than one time when getting tires or service the tool become missing. I always check before leaving the tire shop or servicing dealer, funny how they always stated that they had forgot or you didn't have one when you got here I would show them pictures of the tool, amazing how fast they would find it LOL Safe Travels & Don't forget about the Kz Rally this Summer Chuck

Chuck, Thanks very much. Found it! I mistakenly thought it was a tool for manual jack stabilizers (which we don't have!) I was wondering what it was for!
No I did not have my tires changed, but I am considering upgrading to G spec tires, luckily plenty of good advice on the Forum. Just need to find the $$.
Happy 4th!
Regards, Larkin

Ok Larkin I thought the same thing when I saw it, then I realized it was for the spare tire even thought when doing the PDI the Tech had said something about it Chuck
