Last weekend we went to Seville, Ohio for the first time to Maple Lakes campground. It's a pretty big place, seems to be mostly permanent.
We kept remarking throughout the entire weekend how quiet the campground was. We didn't hear much of anything from anyone.
Two slightly weird things. First, getting into the campground is tricky. You pull up to a gate and you have to use a call box to call down to the office to get the gate opened. You can't reach the call box from your vehicle, so you have to get out of your truck. This will happen every time you need to enter the campground. Second, dogs are restricted only to your lot. You are not allowed to walk your dogs off your lot or on the roads, you are not supposed to take your dog to anyone else's lot (including if you're with a group of people). There is a dog park somewhere (I never saw it), that you are supposed to transport your dog to if you want to use it.
Other than that, it was nice.

Better put the dog in the truck and drive to the dog park. How else you suppossed to get there if you can't walk the dog on the road or through someone else's grass. Sounds like stupid rules to me, I probably won't ever go there

The DW an i went to a camp ground that had a height and weight restriction on dogs, they could not be over 15 inches high an weigh 10pds. Both are dogs were well over that, small one is 56pds and the Great Dane is 165pds, they didn't say a word to us but did say something to a friend who had a lab who weigh in at 85pds.
The wagon master of our group said we will not be going back to that camp grounds again, their loose since we most time have 12 to 18 rigs at any given time ...
