Has anyone had a problem with the cabinet doors opening while on the road? I am not sure if anyone of you has traveled on I 16 from Macon to Savannah Georgia, but that has to be the worst road for pot holes and dips in the road I have ever driven on. Is there a mod or fix for this? We lost a crock pot this past weekend. This is not the first time either.
Any thoughts on a fix?
Cheers Fred

I drove it a few years back with a Semi, it's almost as bad as I-44 out of St Louis, feels like you are 4 wheeling only instead of 4 wheels you have 18 LOL Safe Travels & Don't forget about the Kz Rally this Summer Safe Travels Chuck

We had 2 doors up near the microwave that open due to heavy plates that shift and fall out. I use long wire ties similar to what are used on a loaf of bread (except much longer) and wrap it between the handles. It works but if someone has a better method I'd like to hear it.

I've had doors open and even had one rip the rail off of the stiles. I have added child safety locks to quite a few cabinets and haven't had the issue since. www.homedepot.com/p/Prime-Line-Cabinet-Catch-Plastic-S-4438/202639125I will note that the wife really isn't a fan of the locks. It makes getting into cabinets a little more difficult. It does save us money on repairs, so she doesn't say too much about it anymore.

I've added extra catches on most drawers and doors. You do need to pack so that dishes and crock pots cannot contact the doors. Tension bars are available to help keep things in place.

No cabinets, but I have a couple of drawers that seem to want to open during travels. Haven't figured out how to stop it, but it's just something to check when setting up. Nothing broken ... yet.

Ronc if your drawers are above and below each other try running a small bungee strap around the handles it helped on my coach.
