I have one of those cheap water pressure regulators I'm looking at buying a valterra pressure regulator. What is the max pressure my 06 frontier can handle.

The chance of leaks all depends on the workmanship of your particular unit. I would set it at 40 to 50 PSI.

X2 on what lynnmor said. 40-50 psi should be your target for water pressure.

45Psi MAX on all product lines if you go over 45 psi you will be at risk of blowing your lines.

I know that on our '17 Escape the guy doing our walk through told us that ours was rated up to 70 psi for the lines anything above it would blow them out. So that's why I got a regulator for 40-50 psi.

Each faucet has a flow restrictor in the aerator just like the ones in your stick home if you have newer faucets, by removing that even if you have low pressure will improve the flow by quite a bit

Our Showers in any of our 5th wheels have always been sort of low pressure do to the shower type of shower head, out new 5th wheel seems to be a bit better but not close to what is in our house ... Safe Travels & Don't forget about the Kz Rally this Summer Chuck

I bought an Oxygenics shower head from Camping World. Seems like it was in the low $30's when I bought it a few years ago. It still is nothing like my house used to be, but there definitely is more pressure with it than the one that came in my fifth wheel (the one I live in).

I was kind of skeptical when I bought it, but was very pleased with the increase in pressure. One thing to note, unless they have made changes since I bought mine, is that the on/off switch will not cut the flow off 100%. There will be a constant dripping when you have it turned off. That was in the reviews when I bought mine, and mine is just like they said.

I installed one of the Oxygenic shower heads and It works great. It helps with the hot water supply. We don't run out of hot water so quickly. Also keep my water pressure at 40 to 45#.

The dripping shower head is to try to maintain a constant water temperature. Personally, my water goes cold. The manufacturers say it's to prevent the first spray to be either really hot or really cold.

The first spray on mine when I turn it back on will be a bit hotter than before it was turned off, but it will return to the original setting fairly quick.
