Just got back from a long weekend (2017 2500 / 318 RLT) and couldn't get the bedroom door open (knob wouldn't turn). There's no hole in the knob to unlock it from the outside. I ended up having to take a non-flexible scraper and pry the door away from the jamb until I could force the door open. (In this case, thank goodness for flimsy walls - only hurt the door a little!). That's when I found that there IS no lock - it just wouldn't turn! I don't think I want to put THAT kind of knob set in again, so I suppose warranty is useless here...

Was your RV really out of level when the door got stuck? Once you got the door open, did the knob turn?
I would think for a 2017, everything is covered under warranty unless you damage something yourself.

johnr is correct, everything front to back is including along with your door knob which is covered, I have to say I have never heard of a door knob ever not working but stranger things have happened... If the dealer will give you a new door Knob assembly why not try it, make sure it turns while at the parts counter  Safe Travels & Don't forget about the Kz Rally this Summer Chuck |

chipporter What was the outcome of your door knob, did the dealer replace such or did you buy one from a big box store ? If you would please post what you did so others can benefit from your experience Chuck and Hildi out and about in MO. |

It's funny, on our last campout, one of the bathroom door knobs got stuck! We were level and had been camping for 2 days when it happened, wife couldn't get the knob to turn. I was able to get it to turn, but it required a bunch of effort. Once open, it didn't stick again. It was strange.

Well johnr Wish you were at the rally, they would have replace the door knob no questions ask as well as checked the door frame .... Our bedroom door closes even when level, Kz Tech looked at it, yep, your haunted laughing, not a problem we can fix that... The amount of extra effort the Kz people are doing is flat amazing, you say something that is a problem in passing and the next thing you know it's fixed Chuck & Hildi at the Kz Rally |

Wish I was too, but couldn't swing it this year. Had a vacation already scheduled the week prior. Drove from SC to OH on the 30th and had to return to work because they missed me so much.
