So I picked up my brand new 241RLK, which I love, absolutely love. Tested all the lights, used hazards to make sure both turn signals worked. Half way to my camping location the first time out, this nice man in a pickup truck pulls up beside me and yells from his window that my turn signals on the back of the trailer are reversed.
So I tested with a friend's truck at the campsite, and sure thing, the trailer wiring was backwards. I was able to fix it by redoing the connection to the wiring harness, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had something like this? In theory I'm sure my dealer would re-wire it for me, but I figure it is more trouble than worth as it is working and I know why the colors don't match in the splice.
We also had an issue where the pre-wired backup camera would not provide power, and the dealer had to fix that wiring for us. Starting to make me worried about the electrical stuff!
We love the trailer other than that.

If you have ran all the other electric stuff in your 241RLK and had no problems I won't worry, there is always little things in trailers that need attention.
Sounds as if you have a pretty good dealer that will fix things and make them right. As you can read we all have little things that we fix that is not worth going back to the dealer for service, if you have ever rode inside a trailer it would scare you, they shack raddle an bounce going down the road so things get loose ....
Safe travels and don't forget about the KZ Rally

I just picked up my 241RLK about a month ago. During orientation, I was told that the back-up camera gets power from the roof lights, meaning that the camera will only work if you have your lights on. Is that true with your unit ? Secondly, how is the camera working ? I've read some reviews that said it cuts out at higher speeds. Have you had any issues ?

We had a trip in September planned but Irma spoiled those plans. Now, we're getting ready to leave tomorrow for a week at the beach. Our backup camera is wired like yours. However, we've not had great success with it. When it works - it's great. Nice to see what's happening in the rear. But the monitor only works intermittently. Very ironic that the camera worked perfectly when we drove the camper home after purchasing it. The ride was about an hour and the monitor displayed a clear picture. We drove on the interstate and side roads and it did well under various speeds. It wasn't until about 30 minutes in to our first trip that we encountered a problem. We haven't had much opportunity to troubleshoot this issue, but there is power to the camera and display and signal strength was fine. We tried to change the direction of the antenna on the camera and monitor and neither had an effect. We're going to see how it goes tomorrow. If there is still a problem, I'll contact Furion when we return.
Check the web - I found a you tube video (sorry, don't have link) where someone recorded the issues they were having - very similar to ours. Also read some reviews that describe the same issue. So, I think the problem is prevalent and hope the mfg will take care of it.
Will report back in about 10 days.

CMann, jagnpackfan, hannahsdad 1st i'm sure the way they provide power to the camera is thought the marker light wiring, which makes sense, why run extra wiring when not needed ... 2nd remember that going down the road is like a earthquake rolling at 55 or 60mph an things work loose, should your camera connection worked loose that quickly, I wouldn't have thought so, but it could happen. Is this a ongoing problem possibly an your dealer should report this back to Kz so it can be corrected, will they, more than likely not. However I would if it were me to ask the dealer not only to repair such so it wouldn't happen again but to send a notice back to Kz to correct the problem, believe me they do listen both to their dealers an to their customer base Safe Travels Chuck & Hildi

My camera issue was a bad pig tail from the wire splice to where the camera plugs in. Dealership swapped the pigtail, and worked like a charm!
the reversed tail lights were a semi-easy fix also, I just flip flopped them in the wire harness.
We've been super happy with our Connect 241RLK, and the most annoying thing left is the antenna booster not working, but I don't want to be watching TV anyway!

Returned from our latest trip and happy to report the camera worked flawlessly. We did not incur a single outage. One thing to remember is that your headlights must be in the "on" position and not "auto".

I have the furrion observation camera, and I will say that’s it was one of the best investments I put on the trailer. Seeing behind me while passing and trying to lane change anywhere, this camera is invaluable. The first best investment I have installed on the trailer/truck is the lippert straptek weight distribution system! Even with a friction sway device, the trailer sway was still a white knuckle experience with the old chains. I installed the straptek system, and once I got it set up nice, I don’t even use the friction sway bar I had, and I’ve towed in some strong winds! Trailer stays right with the truck, no more white knuckle driving, just smooth sailing.
