We upgraded from our 1999 Rockwood pop-up to a 2013 Sportsmen 280BH Showstopper in August. We just got back from a 2700 mile trip with it for our honeymoon. Had a great time and both agree that we love the trailer more and more each time we use it. The service dept at our dealer seems to be good but don't know for sure as we just dropped it off to get a few minor things fixed under warranty and to also have it winterized for the season(will update with dealer experience once we get it back and items are resolved) The factory however is AWESOME! While in Virginia I bumper one of the pump guards at a gas station and bent the bottom metal trim, tweaked the stabilizer jack and creased the edge of the bumper (won't go into a neighborhood gas station again that doesn't have easy in/out access). Our last planned stop was set to be the KZ factory in Shipshewanna, IN for a factory tour of the the Sportsmen line. While at tour we were telling our story of our little mishap. Several of the staff went out to look at it in the lot and then asked me to pull it over by the door. Within 2.5 hours they had completely repaired the trailer, repaired a couple of the concerns I had with minor items, and installed an outdoor shower for us. When I asked what the bill was they reached out to shake my hand and said there is no bill and to have a safe trip back to Chicago. Unbelievable... Cannot express our gratitude for this. I would highly recommend KZ to anyone. I grew up camping my whole life and even as a child was always paying attention when my father would go to a dealer for service to see if he would be satisfied and how they handled the issues. I can say I don't think he has ever been as satisfied as we were with their customer service and I have never experienced anything like this. Additionally, I have been in construction for many years and built alot of things myself. After seeing the craftsmanship and work ethic of the staff that builds these trailers I would have a hard time buying any other brand. If you don't get satisfaction from your dealer contact the factory as I am sure you won't be disappointed with them!
