I was trouble shooting a TV issue and removed the basement wall panels to check connections. While the walls were out I took a couple pictures because I don't know how many have been behind the wall in a new KZ. Water Heater view from passenger side and all lines are color coded PEX, the water pump is on the floor between the water heater legs. Two small walls have to be removed to access the water distribution and pump. Same view closer to middle, the inverted is mounted to the side of the steps. The furnace just inside door, found one duct off, aluminum tape repaired. max pictures continued next post

Back of water panel Lippertt Control modal overhead in basement, serial number for the WiFi apps is on the side, Invert & wiring cable tired to secure All pictures have the main right to left wall out. The screws have a special head, not sure what they call it. Most are wood screws but there are a couple self tapping metal from the L bracket to aluminum frame over head. Over all it is done neatly, well secured lines etc. I did find lots of saw dust and assorted wood scrapes behind the walls, gone now.

Edd505, Looks almost identical to mine. My power comes in between the water heater and docking station. I put my EMS on the floor next to the pump and installed a check valve in the cold water inlet to the water heater. Why? When using the electric heating element it would create back pressure in the cold water side, couple fittings leaked. Not anymore. It might look like a jumbled mess in there but sure is easy to get too everything, I don't bend as easy as I used too. As you can see, my converter is located behind the drain lines. Happy Campin....

Thank you for the pictures Edd505 and RdRmr My Lippertt Control modal overhead in basement has no metal behind it just fiber board, might ask the question why yours has it an mine hasn't at the Rally As I said I got the APP to work and the antenna system seems to work now at least on the cable, we do not have a satellite dish an not really want one ... Safe travels Chuck

Thanks everyone for the pictures. I had a duct come off also. The one that served the bathroom and front bedroom. It caused the heat to build up so much in the heater area that the electronic board shorted out in the heater. Dealer diagnosed promptly and covered under warranty.

Edd505,
On the EMS, I purchased the one from Progressive Ind. with the remote readout. Mounted remote readout in the docking station. See pic. I also had the round flex ducting transition piece come loose from the rectangular floor ducting. Reattached with aluminum A/C tape and a few screws into the aluminum floor joists and plywood. Working good now. Also took all the round A/C discharge vents down from the ceiling and trimmed the ends, they stuck way to far into the ceiling duct work, increased the air flow noticeably. My control board for the four point leveling system is centered forward above the front shelf in the basement. Board for the remote control is located in the living room behind the TV. Happy Campin.... EMS readout Remote board location Duct to bath and bedroom

Nice EMS install, interesting on the remote board they put mine in the basement. It's been warm so I haven't really used the heater, I'll have to check the vents. Love the forums for this kind of stuff.

We had the 30 amp Progressive Ind. with the remote readout installed in our old 5th wheel, I had them put them next to the panel not to the door were there was the slide controls ...
We now have a 50amp Surge Guard which connect to the power pole and then to the power cord ...I am thinking of buying a Progressive EMS with the remote readout installed in the future an sell the other other ...

chuck,
That's exactly what I did, had a 30AMP hard wire unit for our old 5TH wheel, sold it to a friend (installed it for him too). Progressives customer service is top notch as well. With all those circuit boards in these units now I wouldn't be without one. Happy Campin....

RdRmr Yep I am a real fan of the Progressive, I'm not sure, sort of lost my head when they offered the 50amp Surge Guard for free, but hey it was free so I said sure I'll take it LOL ... I liked sitting in my recliner watch it go thought it's cycles knowing things were ok .... Of course the old 5th wheel didn't have a quarter of what this new one has Ugh ! The other thing I do not like about the Surge Guard is that it is outside next to the power pole, even thought I have a lock box around it I worry that some idiot will try to make off with it... With the progressive it was inside the unit and thus unlikely to be made off with unless they took the 5th wheel LOL Chuck

chuck,
That's great it was free, will work till you get the other one, good idea to lock it up. I also have a commercial king pin lock that was used on semi trailers I attach after we set up. Gives us a bit more secure feeling while out and about. Happy Campin....

Ok RdRmr
I am use to the king pin locks, I retired from Interstate Dist a few years back, we had accounts with Coles Department stores. All the trailers at those stores had king pin locks on them, we had master key's. Was a real pain in the backside when you had a set of doubles since you had to drop the set you pulled in with, take the pin locks off both trailers at the dock, set them aside. Then pull the two trailers away from the dock, split the two trailer you had brought, put them to the dock, put the pin locks back on, hook the two trailers up to pull them back to the Coles Distribution center, king pin locks were the easy part till the little pins inside either froze or broke Ugh ... Then it was not a nice day, but also not fun in the snow or rain Ugh, an people think driving truck is easy LOL ...

The loose heater ducts apparently is common, as I also had that same issue. I got my look behind the panel when I had my AquaGo water heater installed. That water heater (endless hot water) is awesome.
