We have a 2017 kz 18rbt hybrid and have lost the plastic cover that allows access to the rear of the a/c unit(wall unit). I have searched with no luck finding a replacement. Does anyone have any suggestions where to find one? Maybe I'm not calling it the correct name? Also, while I'm on the subject...any idea why we have to constantly get inside this panel to reset the a/c unit? Most often, anytime we change the power source? We need to get rolling with our maintenance chores cause we are itching to begin our camping season!  Thanks in advance for your help! |

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you missing a cover that is on the outside of the camper?
We have a 2015 model with wall a/c and it is (I think) the same as what you'd buy at a retail store. I would get the manufacturer and model number of your unit and do a google search for what you are looking for.
We haven't had any trouble with the a/c needing to be reset but I think the reset is on the on the end of the plug so I have no idea why it would need to be reset. I plan to move the location it is plugged into, which is behind a wall, so it is accessible and also add a thermostatically controlled switch so the a/c goes off completely instead of the fan running.

I would get the manufacturer and model number of your unit 1st of all, then call your dealer an explain what
is needed, they should be able to help you. If you dealer can not help then an call Kz customer service 866-472-5460
I also think since it is a 2017 you dealer should be able to get such pretty quickly calling Kz which I would
think they should have what you need in stock ....
Also your dealer should be able to help you as well with the AC problem, of course this is the worst time of the
year to get work done at a RV dealer do to the fact of everyone wanting to get ready for camping season...
Another good reason to come to the 2017 Kz Rally in August were there will Kz, MorRyde, Lippert people there
to fix things under warranty or otherwise, check our the Kz Rally Page for more information...
