After installing the battery and plugging my Spree Connect to my house, the alrm keeps sounding 4 beeps and after a few seconds, another 4 beeps and continues. Do I need to do something to reset the alarm, or am I missing something? There have been no gasses on over the winter, and for the past 12 hours the windows have all been opened to make sure its aired out. Thank You for your time!

Try running you vacuum cleaner over the detector. It may have a build up of dust on the sensor. If that doesn't work and you are sure that there is no C.O. or propane present the detector is most likely defective. The should be changed out every few years any way.

What is your battery voltage? My unit also sounds when the battery voltage is low. Depending on what CO unit you have. Took me awhile to find out why mine was beeping. On the front of mine in small print it states it will enunciate a "low voltage" condition. Now every couple weeks I plug it in for a few hours, no more beeping. How old is the CO unit? If I remember right, mine states to replace it every five years. Top left corner of unit lists the faults. Happy Campin....

I had the same problem with my 2013 Spree. Took it out, cleaned it,and reinstalled it. Same thing again. Always going off in the middle of the night and scaring the daylights out of us. Got a new one under warranty. It did the same thing so I gave up on it, and I'm not telling how I got it to stop going off.

It seems to be the alarm itself is bad. I plugged it in and still sounds. Its under warranty so it might as well be replaced.

When I stated battery as I am sure others have, to be clear I was talking about the trailer battery not the 9Volt battery in the Alarm As others have stated, change the 9voly battery, clean the CO2 unit, check you trailer battery for low or no voltage, turn off or take out your propane cylinders, if after that an the unit still sounds off then the unit is defective .... Also BTW if the DW is using hair spay near the CO2 unit it will go off, thats one of those believe it or Not things LOL safe travels Chuck
