Hello,
First time on the site.
First time camper owner.
I have a 2016 Sportsman Showstopper and there is no (or I can't find it) switch to turn off the awning lights. There are several switches under the cabinet just inside the door that contain (slide out switch-switch to turn camper light on side of camper on and off and interior camper lights) does anyone know where the awning light switch is or has anyone found this same problem? Appreciate any help I can get.

Yuck It's the old hidden switch trick, maybe they put them at the other end of the the cabinet. jetzen and I have the same trailers but his is a 2018, they changed a couple of awning and light switches from the wall were mine are to the overhead in his living room slide, go figure, engineering redesign for a basketball player over 6ft tall with long arms LOL It's always fun looking for all the bells and whistles, light switches etc in a newly bought trailer, have fun enjoy you new unit Chuck

In my cabinet where the switches are (slides, awning, awning light, living room light, etc) they are not labeled. When I bought the trailer, I wrote it real small with my ink pen and I'm going to make some labels for them. You'd think they could spend a few pennies and label the things when they build them.

So I guess every unit has a hidden or a mystery switch. I had thee wall switches, slide, theater setting overhead and a red lighted? Finally figured it was the second awning lights.

I have a 2017 Sportman 33 feet. My awning switch does’t work. Is there a way to put my awning in manually?

Simon Not trying to be smart but have you checked your fuse panel you may have a blown fuse... Our awning is also operated on power an I know no way to open it up or bypass the system to even close it Ugh !!! Safe Travels Chuck

Really ? mine has a little port that you open up and can use a socket to open/close it. Before I bought it I wanted to make sure I could close the awning manually, as well as the slide out manually (as well as the electric tongue jack) in case any of those three had a problem when I was camping.

hannahsdad I can close my slides with a ratchet or a drill with bit in them but closing the awning may be another story Have not really looked to see if I could, on our old 5th wheel it was no problem because you pulled it down with a fabric type line an then when you wanted to close it you flipped a deal on the end an it rolled up. My two awnings are both done with power, so I might be in a jam if I have a problem Ugh Safe Travels an don't forget about the Kz Rally in August Chuck
