I put deposit down on G366FBT. Dealer wouldn't budge on putting new G tires on unit. Did get toppers and keyless instead. I told them E rated not equipped to carry max 14500. All is good transporting from factory to where ever dealer ordered , but not if you are going camping. Then you have to plan for all these weights that factory seem to be unaware of. In my OPINION. If they would care the factory would install a more heavy weight ( G ) TIRES.
NOW MY QUESTION.
What is the RIM psi rating on these 16" rims??? I looked underneath the backside but couldn't see info rating. Since I didn't actually have possession ( Sign papers ) can't jack unit and take tire off , to see rating on rims.

I am not sure what the max pressure are of the OEM aluminum rims. However, I can tell you that I did change the OEM E's for ST G's, on my own dime at a reputable tire installer. And they would not install the tires if they were not rated for the rims. I think KZ wanted like $1500 for G's from the factory. I have been using Saliun 637 ST 235/80/R16 on my last 2 units without issue. I even went cross country, NY to west coast and back, on these and the tread still looked new. And I immediately installed them on my new DG. Give them a look if you are not sure which brand to use. They go for around $150 and can be found at Simple Tire or Trailertiresandwheels.com. I agree with you about the E's not being able to take the weight.

I just purchased a new 366fbt a couple of weeks ago. I immediately took off the "china bombs" and installed new Bridgestone duravis 250 tires on it. Probably the best e rated tire on the market, all steel and weigh 62 pounds each. I ran a set on a previous unit and put many thousands of miles on them with no problems. I had the Goodyear g614's on my kz stone ridge 38fl that I just traded in on the Durango gold. Blew a tire on interstate 40 and did $2500 damage. They were 3 years old. I'm comfortable with e rated tires, if they are the RIGHT tires.

Cajuncamp,
The wheels on your Durango Gold are rated for the 110psi tires. the valve stems however are not.

I just bought my 2018 Durango Gold G366FBT and it came with Provider ST235/80R-16 tires. I ordered five new SAILUN S637 235/80R-16 tonight. Did a lot of reading and these tires have a good track record.

lazykzr After posting on the subject in another post I got to thinking, you more than likely have to buy new rims as well as new tires, 16 inch tire will not fit on 15 inch rims, your tire guy will or should tell you this ... Safe travels and don't forget about the Kz Rally this summer Chuck

I don't know how to start a new question yet so I'm going to try and insert one here. Hope that is OK. Don't want to offend anyone. I bought a used KZ 2012 Durango 1500 last September. Stored it with canvas wheel covers for the winter. Fixing things to take it out for the first time in two days. Took the wheel covers off and there is a large slit/cut/tear in one of the tires. Thought I might just put all new tires on it. While looking online for suggestions, I noticed NOBODY had ST 225/75R 15 tires. Everyone talks of their 16" tires. I have 6 lugs. Can I upgrade to 16" and larger tires without a hassle? I appreciate any comments. Goodyear now has a trailer tire named Endurance, it's made in USA and that might be an option for you. Personally I would go for the 16" wheels and use LT tires if possible. You have learned first hand about the quality of cheap ST tires.
