We took our 2017 Escape Hybrid out for a shakedown trip this week and my only disappointment was the mattresses. I knew they weren't regular bed mattresses, but they were very lacking. Honestly the mattresses in our popups were more comfortable....I expected more out of the hybrid.

A lot of people I know use those foam toppers on top of an RV mattress. The RV mattress has to be slim enough so that they can fold it in half to get it inside the unit. That makes for one that really isn't great for sleeping on.

I like our mattress but the wife said it was to hard, so i had to put a memory foam topper on it as well, but just on her side plenty of room since it's a King Bed

Honestly the mattresses in our popups were more comfortable....I expected more out of the hybrid. We did the same thing this past weekend......Even the upgraded mattress was no better than the standard type. Good thing we saved the foam topper from our old coach, made another world of difference.
