Thinking about buying a portable holding tank. Looking at the Barker 32 gallon 4 wheel tote-along. The 42 gallon is a little big but could make a place to carry it if I had to. How about some suggestions from folks who use them. Pros and cons, problems using them, how you carry it on the road etc. From what I can tell from ads and pictures, the dump station connection would have to be flat on the ground or close to empty the tank without raising it. Holding tanks are 32 gallon.

Hi. A 4-wheel tote is the way to go in my opinion. I have a 20 gallon 2-wheeler and boy is it tough to move around when full.
The 4-wheel ones that I've seen have a fill port on the top and the dump port on the side which means you don't have to lift it.
32 seems like it would be plenty big. 42 gallons would be an extra 84 pounds and would make it more difficult to pull. 32 gallons is already over 250 pounds.

Yes, I have a 32 gallon two wheeler, very heavy... has a tow bar to throw over your hitch ball. The fun is getting it from your trailer to the hitch. No problems after that.Probably would have gotten a smaller capacity had I thought to do the math on the weight as I never put a full tank in. Can't move it very well!!
