My husband and I bought one this weekend at the Tampa RV show and will hopefully take possession this weekend at the dealer. We would love to see how others have modified and added storage in these and similar units. We can't wait to take our first trip!

We finally had a chance to take it out for a few days this week and loved it! We live about 74 miles from Disney World, so Fort Wilderness seemed liked a great place for a shakedown trip. It was so easy to get ready to leave, even though we live in an apartment and have to store it off site. My husband just pulled it up in the parking lot and we moved things directly to the camper. We did learn that we need to be careful where things go as a few things bounced around during the drive, but nothing was damaged. When we had our popup it was such a chore to pack and unpack...this was nothing compared to that. I think we offloaded everything at the apartment in 15 minutes! My only complaint is the mattresses. To call them mattresses is quite a stretch, it was like sleeping directly on the wood frame so we'll be investing in some mattress toppers before our next trip.

We bought Memory foam from Target even thought the mattress was ok, but it was vastly improved once the memory foam was put on top

Hi! Just curious how you are enjoying your HTT and what mods you might have done. I have a 2015 18RBT. On our 2 trips so far, it has been just me, wife and tot (in a pack-n-play) so we stack the 2 mattresses and sleep on that. But if we have guests we will definitely need a topper. Do you just roll up the topper and stow it on the dinette seats when not in use? How thick of a topper did you get?
I moved my battery to the rear bumper to lighten the tongue a bit (60 lb difference). Sway has not been an issue at all. I have ordered a swivel jack to replace the A-frame jack, and plan to move the propane tank rearward a little, where the battery was previously, so I can actually open my Jeep's tailgate when hitched.
On the first trip, the anode rod wasn't screwed in and I lost half my water when I turned on the pump. 2nd trip I ran out of propane in the middle of the night and had to switch tanks at 3am, what a pain to do that under the tip-out. Slowly getting the hang of this RV'ing thing.

We have an E196S. We don't use (or own) a microwave in our house so we removed it from the trailer to expand storage. Quite happy with extra room and microwave is storage in our garage, dustproofed in case we ever decide to sell the trailer (or microwave).
