Hi All:
This is just our second winter with our Spree and instead of storing indoors like we did last winter, we are storing it outside in our driveway this winter in Rhode Island. I am about to remove the battery and keep it on a trickle charge in the garage for the winter, but my question is: Once I remove the battery can I still plug the trailer into the wall socket with the regular electrical cord, as needed to have ability to use the interior lights as we may need them periodically during the winter? In other words, will the electrical system still work if the battery is out of the circuit and secondly, is it safe to do this? Thanks, Ken Rhode Island

Yes, your AC electrical items will continue to work without the battery connected. Anything that is DC only will not work.

your converter will supply the DC. I would be sure the positive(+) battery leads can't touch anything. also I would check the DC voltage as soon as you turn it on, if it is over 14.5 volts I would turn the converter off and not have 12v.
Lights and slides are 12v, you could bring in a standard 110v house lamp if you need to turn the converter off. the AC and outlets are about the only things in a RV that runs with only 110v
