My 2017 Escape has a GVWR of 3,500 pounds. I was just looking online and noticed that the 2017 has a GVWR of 4,000 pounds. Does anyone know what KZ changed between the two years?? It seems odd, since the trailers are basically identical.

My 15 is 3500 also, so will be interesting, single axles usually rated at 3500. If I'm not mistaken

The new e191bh replaces the e196s. Yes, agreed! And they are basically the same trailer. Looking for what has changed to raise the GVWR to 4,000 lbs.

We just bought a 2017 e160RBT, which replaced the e18RBT I think, and it's GVWR is 3,500.
