I have a 2013 KZ Sportsman classic and my running lites on the trailer do not come on when plugged into my 7 way. The blinkers and brake lites work but not the side, front and rear running lites. Any help would be appreciated. I checked all the light bulbs and they appear good. Thx. Ed

All your running lights are powered from the tow vehicle and most have dedicated fuses for trailer lights. Your tow vehicle owner's manual should identify the fuse for the lights not working. That's where I would look first.

Check for voltage at the connector. If there is voltage there, likely the plug or trailer wiring farther back is faulty. Look at 7-way RV standard here: Diagram

You can also use a circuit tester where the camper plugs to the tow vehicle. Hook the alligator clip from the tester to a ground on your truck, and check the lugs at the plug on your truck to make sure they are hot. The blinkers have to be on to make that lug hot and the same with the brakes. You have to push on the brakes to make that lug hot. Two people makes it easier to do. Same with the running lights, the headlight switch has to be on.

After a lot of trial and many errors I located and replaced the errant fuse. It was fuse 67 in the engine compartment. It was a square 20 amp fuse and now everything works great. Just ordered 921 LED replacement bulbs to replace the OEM bulbs. Got a great price at Amazon. Learned the lens covers slide and not pry off!! Thx. Ed
