We purchased a 2017 sportsmen 272 le bhs back in may. We have only been able to use it a few times so far, and have been only using city water when hooking up. The one time we tried to use the water pump the control panel switch for the water pump seemed to be stuck in the off position and would not switch into the on position. Any idea what might be causing this? We are new to the rving world and have no idea what we are doing. We still have a warranty, but want to make sure we have a legitimate problem before taking it back to the dealership to have it looked over and worked on.

Hi, welcome to the group! What kind of switch are you talking about? A rocker panel lighted switch? Is it in the control panel with all of the other switches?

Yes, it is the lighted switch that is on the panel with the swithes for the hot Water heater, and the gages for the grey and black water.

Gosh, I think those switches are pretty self-contained. I believe it's a solid unit that just has a plug on the back that you connect to. It sounds like something got stuck behind the switch, but I can't offer any advice for taking one apart because I've never looked at them.
Since it's a new RV, I'd probably have the dealer take a look at it. If you're adventurous, pull the panel off and see if you can see any problem from the back. Make sure you unplug from electric and disconnect your battery so you don't have a shocking ending. Swap the switch for another one you don't need to use maybe?

Thank you for your suggestions. Since it is still under warranty I will have the dealer look at it. I would hate to void the warranty by taking something apart and screwing something else up.
