Just purchased a 2008 Sportsmen and the wife wants to change the fabrics. looking for where to get the button kits to make new buttons that cover the screws that hold up the headboard and over the door fabric pieces. Not finding them in any Fabric store in town. Any help would be appreciated.

I did the same....but only because I didn't like the décor after having my 2014 for a year. There is a place in White Pigeon, Michigan called Bontrager's. We were there a couple of years back. They buy out overstocks from RV manufactures, or so it seems. They have things I didn't know existed...bins of them. I don't know if they are still in business or if they ship but I did see boxes of the button there. Everything was really cheap. I wish I had known I was going to do a renovation at the time. Anyway, if that doesn't work, I ended up screwing on Industrial Strength Velcro to the backers and the wall to attach my over the door pieces. I would think, it would work on the headboard also if you used enough to ensure it would hold the weight. I was lucky that my headboard blended with the new décor.

thanks for the idea but not sure that will work for me. Did find another website vstarproducts.com that has dura snap buttons but they are not customizable, so will look for something that will contrast or come close to matching what the wife wants to do. So I will give them a try. |
