since I have an onboard surge protector/converter can I plug into 220V?
On the converter it says capable of 240 volts max.
Does this mean since I have a 50 amp hook up it will allow this?

I know that you know better than that. Why the trolling?

Was not trolling...Ha, first time I have been accused of that. The surge protector indicates that. That is why I asked. I know the wiring cannot handle it though.

A 50 amp camper is not 220v compliant. A 50 amp camper is really broken into 2 110v sections in the wiring. You'll fry your electrical system if you were to somehow find the adapters to plug into a 220v line.

The 60 watt thing was what threw me, I thought it was an attempt to rile the troups, but it was a simple mistake. A 50 amp outlet will indeed have 240 volts across the two hot legs. Only a few high end units use the 240 for dryers and such. Most will use the two 120 volts pairs for everything and divide the loads as equally as possible.
