On 8-13-12 we traded in our 1999 terry travel trailer on a 2013 spree 280 travel trailer. we liked the floor plan and the first impression was positive. we took delievery on 8-15-2012. as i was getting the camper ready for travel i ran the slide in then heard water running. i looked and found water on the roof of slide running into bedroom. after cleaning up the water we were on our way. after spending some time inside we noticed several things that needed attention. 1- light fixture on slide wall VERY CROOKED. 2- trim on outside of kitchen table coming off. 3- latch on rear window broken, could not open window without screen falling out. 4-tub surround pulling away from wall. 5-on one chair and couch material coming apart where it was sewed. 6- getting up the next morning i noticed water all over the floor. i found the drain on the left side of sink leaking ALOT. my wife did some dishes the nite before. the water leaked into the drawers and then onto the floor. MY QUESTION TO KZ, DO YOU HAVE A QUALITY CONTRL INSPECTOR? i returned the camper to our dealer on8-20-12. i had no issues with my terry trailer like this. i hope my dealer can take care of these problems. i dont blame my dealer I BLAME KZ! this unit should of never left the factory in this condition.

Except for the shower surround loose on the wall all the items you mention are common and happen to all brands...you were very lucky with your Fleetwood product....famous for the poorest quality in the industry. As for the water on the slide....I bet it was pooled from being tilted towards the right side. KZ quality FAR surpasses the best fleetwood ever built....part of why they are gone.

I think a lot of these issues are things the dealer should have caught before delivering the unit. Our dealer ran every system and flipped every switch during their inspection of the unit the weekend prior to us taking delivery. Then they took us through a three hour walk through running every system and flipping every switch again as an add assurance.
I'm not excusing QC at the factory but the dealer plays a role in the QC process since I imagine that between the time the unit leaves the factory and arrives at the deliver "stuff" can happen.
