Hello, I live in my 2013 spree. Lately on outside where hot water heater is there is a small drip o coming from it leaking onto ground. Has anyone had to replace water heater? Is it expensive to get a new one?? I'm not handy will have to have it done. Thank you Kristine

Also check to make your anode rod/drain plug is sealing correctly. Might need some Teflon tape on threads to get a good seal. Bottom line, before assuming it's the tank, look for the leak with system pressurized

Is the drip coming from the pressure relief valve? It is the fitting near the top with a small lever. If that is the source, turn off the power and drain the tank. Then refill. There is to be an air pocket at the top, but it will slowly go away, so periodic draining is necessary.
If that isn't the case, get back with the exact location of the drip.

I had the drip and I did exactly what lynnmor suggested - hasn't leaked since
