Do I need a W/D and, or sway bar control for Sportsman Classic 18RBT? TV is 2006 Mercury Mountaineer V6, 4.0L. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

While the trailer is light, so is the TV. I think that you would have a safer combo with the WDH. There are some 500 & 550 pound tongue weight systems available.

Hello, Just curious if you ended up getting a wd? I just bought a 2013 18RBT and will be towing it with our GMC Safari..... Thanks, would love to hear your input...... Robert

Considering a Fastaway e2 system with sway control part # FA-94-00-0800 or Pro series part # PS 49902. Have you done any research on what to use?

I got a fastway E2 8000/800 , like it a lot to tow my spree escape 196s. works great, tows straight,2 point sway control, and you don't have to disconnect to back up. the 6000/ 600 tw version may work for you as well

Vagov - Did you install it yourself? If so was it difficult or run into any problems? Thanks

Yes installed myself, pretty simple to do, a Little readjusting of the L brackets afterwards to determine what height works best for the spring bars. Besides that, very happy with the fastway

Did you notice any difference in towing your trailer after installation?
