i have a 2012 Stone Ridge 38fl. I was told by the factory that the only satellite hookup is on the roof where there is a prewire set up for a factory installed satellite system. When i pointed out what an inconvenience that was for a portable satellite system, they suggested that we hook up a cable on the roof and "let it hang down"! Needless to say i wasn't too thrilled with that idea. Kz needs to address the situation for the many owners who use a portable system. That having been said, i know that there are several forum members that have figured out ways to hook up their systems and will probably respond with details soon on this thread. Also. you should have received in your owners package a single hand drawn diagram showing how the tv's are wired in the unit. Apparently all Kz Stone Ridge units are wired the same. Good luck, it is possible to hook up!

We finally had to take our fifth wheel back to the dealer where we purchased it and just got it back today. They fixed the satellite. When the factory installed the drawers under the tv they had drilled one of the screws into the satillite cable. Everything works perfect now! I do have to say we love our Stoneridge 38SR! And Goodtime Rv in Rosepine, LA is some of the nicest helpful ppl I have met. They have went above and beyond trying to help us! Very happy camper here!
