Good Afternoon, Is it possible to add a ladder to a 2014 Sportsmen S301BH?
Thank you, Allen

Only if you can verify that the proper framing was put inside the wall to support a ladder.

There isn't a good reason to get on the roof, I don't believe it's a good idea, other than inspection of roof seals or raising the FM antenna. I would suggest an ultra light A frame 6 foot that can be put in the back while traveling. I would recommend a 10 foot extend a climb as they are even more compact, and better for storage.

I purchased this ladder since it is plenty tall and veryhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/9996981126/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 compact and light. I bought one of those at a yard sale for $20. I don't trust to use it on the trailer because my roofing material wraps down over the side, and the ladder would rest against it.

The ladder that Michael posted is the same one I've been using for the last 3 and 1/2 years. I put portable solar panels on a blanket on the roof of my trailer almost every time we go out. I haven't had any issues with the ladder rubbing or damaging. I put the ladder away every time so it never just sits against the trailer.

I've had good luck with the telescoping ladder and no issues marring the roof or sides of the trailer. I like having access to the roof to sweep debris off the top of the slide before pulling it in as well as inspecting seals.
