My wife and I are looking into purchasing a Connect C260RKS. We were wondering if anyone out that has this model? If so what if any issues you've had.

My wife and I are looking into purchasing a Connect C260RKS. We were wondering if anyone out that has this model? If so what if any issues you've had. trex380 The Connect C260RKS has pretty much the same floor plan as the more upscale Spree 262RKS/263RKS. It is actually much closer to the 263RKS in that is has a smaller shower in a rearranged bathroom from the 262RKS which has a large shower. I own the Spree 262RKS and am very pleased with it. It's a very comfortable "couples" coach that is perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. I can't really speak for the Connect C260RKS "fit and finish" as I've never personally seen one, just photos. But I'm sure it is serviceable as K-Z has been building travel trailers for quite awhile. The only thing I wish would have been different is the location of the Black and Bathroom Gray water cleanout connection and valves which are a bit hard to reach if the slide out is extended. The Kitchen Gray water clean out valve is easy to reach. Also, I did wind up installing some shelves in the bathroom linen closet. From the factory, it is just one big cave of a space. The 2 additional shelves made it much more convenient. Mechanically, the only other modifications I've made is to replace the rather cheap 35amp-hour, lead-acid, deep-cycle battery with a 100 amp-hour AGM totally sealed battery. Almost 3 times the battery capacity and absolutely no maintenance to do. Also, I added a couple of 12VDC outlets in the bedroom and at the dinette for use when "boon-docking". Finally, I changed out the ST205/75 R15 Load range C tires for ST225/75 R15 Load range D. There is another thread on this topic under this same SPREE heading that fully explains why.

Well we took the plunge and traded in our 2010 Coyote CL180 and got the Spree Connect C260RKS! My wife and I are not disappointed we did. We took possession the Friday before Memorial Day. Though we had a couple of issues, which were taken care of, we are happy we got another KZ product! We want to thank Art for his patience and the crew at the plant for their craftsmanship! Also we want to thank the dealer Richard's RV Sales & Service for working diligently to get it to prepped and delivered for the holiday weekend. We love the extra space! My wife especially likes the kitchen. The only drawbacks we have found are the lack of shelving in the pantry and TV reception from omni directional antenna. We had better reception from old style antenna on the Coyote.

Our 1st camping trip with a travel trailer (2017 Connect 260RKS) went GREAT! It pulled a lot easier than I thought and arrival & departure setups were better than I thought! Our 260RKS was roomy and we are so happy as for this layout of a camper. If I figure out how to add a pic, I'll put one on here!

khasay,
A Connect 251RK is just an updated version of a Spree Connect 260RKS. I pretty sure that the "SPREE" has been cut from the name and they are just Connect now. 1 other minor change that I see going by photos and floor plan diagrams is that it appears the 251RK has an extra shirt closet. There may be other subtle changes between the two.
