Batting around two trailers very similar inside except one has way, way more storage, is more expensive and has a few more options included which would be a plus. I have kind of been obsessed about the space issues as I look through countless floor plans. How important was storage when you were picking out your Trailer? I was just curious to know if this was a concern for others.
Do you think you would have chosen differently now if it was not a concern then? The plan is to be happy with what we buy and not have to trade in and move up to a bigger trailer in 5 years.
Thanks for the thoughts in advance.

you will never hear anyone say " I wish I had less storage in my camper". We have a spree 305 5er and it has tons of storage. We've had it going on 5 years now and still have a large portion of cabinets and storage that go unused. I would rather have and not need than to need and not have though. Having all the storage means that my camper's clutter factor is very low. I'm able to keep things in separate areas and know exactly where my stuff is versus digging through totes or something to find things.

When looking at RVs, I pay attention to outside storage and my wife pays attention to inside storage. For outside I make sure I'll be able to fit in tools and chairs and a water tote and sewer tote and electric tote and garbage can and rugs and grill and extra shoe tote. 0rion is right, nobody ever asks for less storage! Hope that helps!

I encourage people to look at toy haulers, even if they don't have a toy. Having that garage is great for hauling all you crap

Go for as much storage as possible. We own a bunk model and nobody sleeps in them, yet. The extra room is wonderful.

Go for the storage, you will not be sorry. I look for good hanging storage for clothes, I have drawers now for some clothing...so much easier, kitchen storage, and counter space are top on my list too. We have a KZ 261RKS....not sure if they make that model anymore but we love the unit and storage. Good Luck! We have thought of a Toy Hauler too for the extras....Chairs, portable grill, e-z up, cast iron cookware and table....it is amazing what you can come up with when you camp.

one of the things I've been really happy with in our spree 305bhs is the amount of storage....just one of the things....I'm pretty happy with the camper as a whole really. Bedroom: Main living: There's also another full closet by the bathroom in the nose, sink with cabinet under it, and wardrobe in the nose bunk area for the kids. The one thing I do wish we had more of is counter space. I did buy a counter extension that I can put on there if we need but really we haven't needed it yet.

Hey thanks for sharing the pics... I was all about a Heartland Wilderness until I went back to look at storage... if I am gonna spend bug bucks for a trailer, I am NOT gonna live out of rubber made containers looking for this and that.... I can deal with counter space but space is megga up there on the list.
Thanks again. Jean
