Good evening, my friends: I am considering (4 visits to the dealer so far -- I've heard that it takes about 7 visits to close the deal) the purchase of an E190 and I would love to hear from others who have experience with the E190. I live in Central Florida and note that the E190 comes with minimum (R-7) insulation. Do I really need a furnace? Have you had occasion to use your furnace? How low was the temperature when you used it? Also, using the generally accepted formula for determining the AC BTU requirement (L x W x 25), it would appear that the wall mounted 8,000 BTU AC would be adequate. It is my understanding that the AC unit removes humidity from the air only when it is running and that an over-sized unit may not run long enough to reduce the humidity adequately. Cool and dry is good -- cold and clammy is not. Does anyone have experience with the wall mounted 8,000 BTU AC? Also, are front mounted stabilizer jacks needed? Are the standard stabilizer jacks adequate? Finally, are you able to use the shower without flooding the bathroom floor? Or do you keep Rover's pillow in the shower and use the bathhouse showers instead? By now, I'm sure you are questioning whether 7 visits to the dealer will be enough for this prospect. I will listen to the voice of experience. If you would like to contact me privately, my email address is reedtg3 at comcast dot net. Cattail

I have a similar size model (E196S) with an air conditioner in the wall. Whether or not you need a furnace depends on when and where you're camping. If you are camping at a place that has electric hook ups or using a generator you can use a small electric heater many times. I would think that the resale value would drop the heater isn't there.
The a/c works well but I would prefer that it turn off after reaching temperature. I like the wall mount versus the roof mount if, for no other reason, the ease and cost difference to replace it versus replacing the roof model.
Are the stabilizer jacks needed? - Don't know - hadn't tried it without using them. My best guess is that they do take out some of the shaking that you feel moving around. I do notice when a stabilizer isn't set correctly and add maybe a 1/2 turn to have it more steady.
I think we've both used the shower once and it was fine. The wall around the shower doesn't seem real water tight. I caulk the seams with clear silicone caulk as a precaution.
I hope 1)that answered your questions and 2)I don't get flamed by anyone for giving my best answers; I'll be the first to say I'm not an expert.
Good luck.

Thanks, mdconvert! Do you have stabilizer jacks in the front and back?

yes, they're on front and back. The stabilizers didn't come with the "feet". I added these on all 4 corners.

yes, they're on front and back. The stabilizers didn't come with the "feet". I added these on all 4 corners. We just bought a new 2016 E170S and will pick it up on Tuesday. We noticed the four stabilizer jacks have tiny pointed ends. Our popup had round plates on the ends of the stabilizers so we would like to add something like this to our new trailer. So, where did you find the "feet" you mentioned? Thanks!

I assume that you are referring to Bal stabilizer jacks. The sand feet can be bought at CW or online. You may have to trim the rubber bushings but they work just fine.

Thanks! We ordered these from Amazon last Monday with same day delivery. When we picked up our TT on Tuesday the dealer installed them for us. We're camping now and everything is working fine. Boy, are we ever Happy Campers!
