Leaving tomorow for a camping trip , took battery off charger and mounted on tounge, after hooking up battery terminals. Start hearing a clucking noise in the relay comming off pos lead, plugged into house hold current, and power started flickering, disconnected battery and piwer wwieks great off house current, took off relay and replaced with new one from auto zone, still same problem, now what?

Maybe make sure the ground didn't come loose where the negative side of the battery connects to the frame? I have heard of converters going bad from time to time so I hope that's not the case.

found the problem, big ol stipud SPUT, i hooked the battery up in reverse, funny part is think i double checked that first, like i never hoooked a battery up before duh, Thats what happens when you multi task, trying to do everytging last minute! At least i got a spare relay if ever needed

Definitely sounds like one of those things that I would do and my wife would come out and point it out seconds before I would have discovered the issue LOL. Glad it was a simple fix and you were able to take care of it for your trip!
