Has anyone else had an issue with the kitchen side slide out? We left our campsite and when we got to the dump station, the top part of the slide had tilted out about a foot and caught on the interior ceiling light. The bottom of the slide was still in the correct position This wrecked the light and also the trim on top of the slide. We were not driving on any rough roads and I don't recall any high speed curves that would cause it?? It is impossible for the switch to get bumped as it is on the wall and there is nothing by it If you push on the top of the slide from the inside when it is fully retracted it is very easy to push the top out. This doesn't seem right to me, but our dealer said that is how its made??? I am now fighting with them to get it fixed.
Thanks Ron

So is this trailer still under warranty? Who is the dealer that gave you problems? There is no way that it should have been "made this way," and the dealer is giving you a major runaround.

Yes it is still under warranty. But the dealer is saying that there is nothing they can do. I told them that had better figure something out because it is also a safety concern for me. They are trying to contact KZ and see what they say about it The dealer is Bucars RV in Calgary

I suggest that you document everything. Names, numbers, dates, conversations and places. Take photos inside and out showing that the slide will not stay in place. I had serious issues where my dealer, Family Camping Outlet, left me holding the bag.
You might find a few good people at KZ if Thor didn't mess that up. Give the dealer one chance to make it right, then call KZ if you aren't completely satisfied.
