My wife and I just upgraded campers, and have a Spree Connect 290IKS. I have a couple of questions. 1.) I would like to replace all of the lights inside to LED (bulb 921), anybody have a good source on on quality product, that wont break the bank?
2.) We have a slide out that has a fridge, microwave, stove/oven on it. The counter has a lot of counter space...but no 120v outlet! Anybody have any luck adding an outlet? Our dealer said we could, but then if we used it, we would be able to use microwave, or AC at the same time. Any ideas?
I appreciate any help in advance!

Hello, there usually is a receptacle on the underside of the kitchen cabinet. Have you looked there? I would be extremely surprised if there isn't one somewhere. How would you be able to use a kitchen without somewhere to plug appliances into??
They don't install any wiring in exterior walls so that is out for adding anything. It is possible to run wiring through a ceiling using any access point you can find by removing vent bezels, speakers, A/C vents and even ceiling lights. I just ran some wiring in our 2014 262RKS this way for light switches and co-ax cables. I've done it on previous travel trailers as well. You can cut access holes (with utility knife) inside a cabinet on the ceiling or wall if needed for access points. Removing a fridge can give access. You can run wiring under a shower or tub, in dinette seating and inside lower cabinets. Run a #14 ga. romex cable from a power source like another receptacle or back to the panel. Connecting to the microwave outlet would work but will mean you can't use it when something is plugged into the new recept. (not good). You can't do this in a house by Code. Better to find another recept. to connect to or connect to the panel. The underside of upper cabinets have a hollow space that can be used to run wires too.
On LED lights, just replacing the bulb will work and the cheap Ebay ones from China aren't too bad. Definitely FAR cheaper than buying at a dealer or parts vendor. New lights with LEDs in them are quite expensive. Personally I don't like the pancake style of lights with LEDs in them as they have too much glare and I find them quite annoying (I used to design lighting systems in buildings). I removed all the OEM pancake LED ceiling lights in our 2014 Spree and replaced them with Kaper II lights which are oval shaped and about 1/2" thick. They're just the right size to go where the old lights are so won't leave visible screw holes. They have an edge-lit opaque diffuser and have no glare. They're quite new on the market and I don't think they are on the Kaper website yet. Some RV dealers are now stocking Kaper light fixtures.

Thanks Myredracer....we have hunted and hunted....there is no outlet on the slide out by the microwave. There are floor outlets on the island, but nothing on the counter....hhhmmm.
I will check into the Kaper II lights as well!
