I currently own a KZ181RB that we purchased in 2020. Over the last several years there have been several threads regarding exterior protection (decals, finish) etc. I have not heard anyone trying ceramic coating. I’d like to know if anyone has tried it and the results.
Have a safe camping season!

Most of the DIY stuff you can buy is good for 3-6 months at best. Plus the proper prep involves removing all the old wax and embedded dirt and staring with a completely clean surface. Not sure if it will affect or preserve the decals.
Don't believe the stuff you read on the website.

I put Griots 3 in 1 on mine last year. Real easy to work with. Unfortunately I can't give you a good idea about longevity since I haven't spent the time to even wash it since. Still looks good though. See the Scott HD channel on YouTube, many of the consumer available coatings last way longer than 6 months in the Texas sun and and are easy to use.

Good prep is the key per above. I cleaned the Escalade when I bought it, the paint is in great shape. Took a couple of days to apply Starbrite's teflon wax that I've been using on boats for several years. Stuff is easy to apply and wipe away the haze, cleans well too. A detailer buddy did the front cap with some pro ceramic coating that held up pretty well for a couple of years. Just waxed it again and think I will forgo the ceramic stuff, The RV stays under a roof so UV is not a real issue. Good luck whatever you do!
