I am considering purchasing a 25RED. I currently have a huge toy hauler (of another make) and looking to downsize. I have an F350 dually (more truck than I would need for a 25RED). My question is When sitting level on axles and front landing gear, what is the pin height? My concern is that the camper would not sit level when towed. I realize there are adjustments on the hitch and the pin box, but those adjustments are limited and I will need to maintain the 6” clearance over the truck bed. I previously had a 1/2 ton fifth on an F250 with similar height and was never able to get the camper to tow level after using all adjustments.

I have a D250RES and tow it with a 2013 Sierra 2500HD. Sitting level the measurement to bottom of pin box is 45”. It’s 57” to the bottom of the camper. I had the same concern what you have as I didn’t have this truck when I bought the camper. My truck height at the box unhitched is also 57”. I don’t have a measurement for the clearance when hitched. Here’s a pic of it hitched. I’m going to say the truck drops just less than 2” when hooked up.

I previously had a 1/2 ton fifth on an F250 with similar height and was never able to get the camper to tow level after using all adjustments. I've always towed a bit nose-high, with both my FWs, and don't feel that it hurts anything. My '02 2500HD was about 4" shorter than my '22 3500HD, so I had to drop the head on my Companion 1 hole and raise my pin box 2 holes for the new truck. I'm about 3-4" nose-high and don't notice it at all. Fridge works just fine and rig handles well. I lost about 3" of bed clearance, so am just over 6", which I'm not happy about. I'd love to lose the spacer blocks on the back axle, but don't see any way to lower the nose, at lease inexpensively. Lyle

Just an FYI. Hooked up I have 8” of clearance to top of box. I have a roll cover so the Velcro rails stick up and I have 6.5” of clearance. Never ever came close.
