The Adirondacks are beautiful. If you get up into the central part, around Lake Placid, you will have lakes, rivers, and mountains. There isn't an area of this massive park that isn't beautiful. We usually stay in the Park's campgrounds....most, maybe all, don't offer any hookups so be prepared. Our favorite campground is Fish Creek Pond, just about every site is on the lake.
