I have a 2018 Escape 191BH. I was reading about the recall on regulators and a camper that burned. It just so happens I experienced exactly the same thing this weekend as the couple who had their RV burn up. My fridge was running on the propane just fine. When my wife went to light the stove, it ignited and then would burn out within about 5 seconds. The same thing happened with the water heater. So I turned off the fridge and tried each other appliance individually with the same result. Following that the fridge worked fine on propane. I don’t mess with gas so I just turned all gas off at that point. In the morning after watching a few videos and reading a bit I tried a few quick solutions that I could do from a campsite with limited tools. By then nothing would run on the propane anymore. I got the fault error on the fridge and a small red light was lit by the water heater switch in the bathroom. It has never been lit before and I cannot find anything in the owners manual about what it means. I am guessing it is a fault similar to the fridge code. Does anyone 1) know what that little red light indicates? 2) Were the single stage regulators also bad*?
*I have since learned that the parts guy at our RV place incorrectly told me it was a single stage regulator. I asked him if he had any two stage regulators and he told me if I had a single tank, then I needed a single stage...I have a two stage which is what I thought to begin with so my regulator would be part of the recall. I just ordered one made by MB Sturgis which according to etrailer will work on my 191BH. I guess we'll see. I continue to welcome any feedback. Thanks!

I thought it was just the dual regulator on recall. I just got mine done this week in my Durango. Red lights usually mean no propane or a fault in lighting. Does your fridge still work ok?

Yes, the fridge works when connected to electricity. I was running it on the propane once we arrived while we waited to fill with water and get to our site. It worked fine throughout that time and as we were setting up. Once I realized that there was a problem with the stove I went back to the LP and the fridge continued to run on it even when all appliances on the passenger side no longer worked. Then this morning, the fridge no longer worked on LP either.
