Hi all, New here as I just purchased a 303RL. Got it home, but I don't have a 50 amp, or even a 30 amp service and I'm selling the house so I'm not putting one in. I got two of the three slides out and decided not to push the third one out. Then a day or so later the propane/carbon monoxide detector started beeping and my wife couldn't get it to stop. It finally did, but I believe it was when the battery was dead. I charged up the battery and it's stayed fully charged. But I don't have lights, the detector didn't come back on and I've checked all of the breakers, all of the fuses and the electrical switch just aft of the battery itself. All were good. I then found the GFI receptacle in the bathroom and hit the test button. Nothing happened. The reset button did pop out like they normally do. Pushing in the reset button had no effect either and it never acted like it does when you reset one. I should mention that I this at my in law's for a few days as they do have a 50 amp service. Everything worked fine. Once I had it at home, I had lights until the battery went dead.
Now I know a little bit about household wiring, but not much about the wiring in a travel trailer that has to mix AC with DC. It doesn't seem likely, but could the GFI receptacle kill ALL the power, to lights, to the stove vent fan, and the radio? I'm running out of things to look for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Chris In Oklahoma.

You don’t need 50 or 30 amp service to plug your camper in. Get the adapter to run 110 volts. You just won’t be able to run your AC. 110 volts are the plugs, microwave and fridge, TV. Lights, fans, radio, slide motors are all 12 volt. The GFI plug may power a few 110 plugs throughout the camper. Plugging into 110 will charge your battery and keep it charged up.

I checked that, it was still in the on position. I played with a little, turning it off and on a few times. it made no difference.
I ordered a connector and a heavy extension cord for the 110. I suspect I can only run so much but that's ok. Getting the slides in and out as well as testing the tankless water heater I put in are my main goals at the moment. The water heater takes very little power so it should be fine on the 110. But I just don't know why suddenly the battery won't run anything. You'd think the lights would work. According to my batter charger, the batter is fully charged. I am not sure, but it may be that the GFI can't be tested without power running to it. I'll know tomorrow once I get the adapter in. Thanks guys.

A couple other items, maybe the converter isn't working? Is the GFCI hot on both the line and load side? You mentioned putting in a tankless water heater... did everything work prior to that? Maybe something got messed up with that installation?
