Refrigerator question: everchill 12v : Freezer is cold. Popsicles slushy. Refrigerator is not cold, took panel off in freezer area lots of frost. The fan isn't turning. Can hear the fridge running. What do I check next? Fuse is good.

We have an Everchill 12V. Found that it takes a lot longer than the Gas/Electric to get the temp down. We turn it on 24 hours before we fill it and then try to fill it with cold item from our household frig and freezer. It works much better then. We actually turned it down some after a few trips because it was freezing items on the rear top shelf in the refrigerator section.
We also pulled it out to change the shelves around, ours couldn't open far enough because of the KZ design of the C261RB. I also added an On/Off 20A switch so we didn't have to pull the fuse to turn off the frig when we wanted power in the trailer without the frig on.

we had a similar problem, turned the power off and back on, ( the dial in the refer part) that solved the problem, and I turned it all the way to the coldest setting

An obstructed refrigerant flow can hinder cooling efficiency in the EverChill RV refrigerator. The circuit board, acting as the fridge's "brain," controls various functions, including cooling. A faulty circuit board could lead to inadequate cooling.

A broken evaporator fan or a clogged diffuser are other causes for your fridge compartment to not cool but freezer to function. Through a diffuser duct, the fan pulls chilly air from the freezer area of the EverChill to cool the refrigerator.
