Big thaw here & I can finally get around... a little. While checking out my brand new 280 toy hauler I find a ceiling light right inside the door is on PERIOD, as soon as you flip battery power on light comes on. No light switch, my trailer has a new type LED panel that controls most things, water pump, heater, hall light, & all ceiling lights down the length inside but not the one inside the door. My wife says I'm not the brightest pickle in the jar but I cannot find a way other than main battery switch to get that light out. Anybody have a new 280 or maybe one of the other Sportster model have same issue???

I have the same light above the door in my D250RES fifth wheel. It’s a sensor light and the switch is on it. It’s goes off after a minute or so. It can be turned off too. I also have the same light in the front storage compartment too. It comes on as soon as you open the door or there’s movement.

Thank you 660catman: I waited a few minutes to see if it would go off but of course I was standing under it & if it's a sensor light I'll have to try again from someplace other than right under it! I found that basement light your referring to as well but it never came on even when I stuck my upper body right under it. It has a button??? on the light which I assumed was a push switch but it does nothing that I could tell so if it's a sensor it must be blind!!

Our camper is in storage because it’s full bore winter up here. If I remember correctly the light is mounted with switch towards the door wall. If I toggle switch towards front of camper it’s in sensor mode. It pretty sensitive as it’s triggered just walking out of the bedroom. I leave it off which is switch toggled the other way. Mine are oval lights, not like the other main lights in the camper. It should turn off if you sit still long enough. For the life of me I can’t remember if it’s a three way switch ON / OFF / SENSOR as I’ve only had it one season. I have the One Control app on my phone I can use to operate any control my LED panel has. Way more convenient. I like it especially when visiting another campsite at night. We can leave awning light off and turn it on while walking back to our site.

I am going too(well my wife is) download that Control App, it should be very handy. Hmm, I have a switch I have no idea what it does on the wall under my LED panel, never figured out what it did, it's only a off-on switch, wondering if that is what your referring to? The basement light has no switch on the wall nor on the light itself that I can see!
Curious where you are, we have 20 inches of snow on the ground here in Bancroft, Ont but I've kept it plowed out with my 4 wheeler?

I’m just south of Winnipeg, Mb. We’ve had 46” of snow so far this winter. I’ve been real busy with my quad plow and tractor mounted snowblower. I don’t have any other switch by the LED panel. Only the bedroom, bathroom and light above dining table has a separate switch. Is there a light above your loading door outside? Maybe the switch is for that or the basement?

You were right light above/inside door is motion censored, took almost 5 mins to go off 1st time, then maybe 1/2 that 2nd time, no switch found that controls it. Light switch below LCD panel doesn't control basement light, I have found no way to turn it on, never thought to look if I had a loading light, I'll check, maybe it controls it.
Be nice if KZ had included instructions inside fancy booklet!

Do yours look like this one? There is no wall switch for sensor lights.

Yes my sensor light looks like that but I don't remember seeing that switch on the side. It's cold & blowing snow about 90 right now but I'm going to go check again soon as weather breaks.
THANKS Randy

We have a 280TH. The switch under the panel is for the ramp/patio lights that are located outside over the ramp door. We figured out what it did by flipping only that switch on when it was dark outside. There is a small switch on the backside of the light over the entry way and pass thru that will turn the sensor off if you don't want it on. It's nice to have when you enter the rv after dark.
