Hi, I just purchased a Sportsmen 270 THLE. I Love the trailer but hate the harsh white LED puck lights. I found some posts on the web where people use LED light strip dimmer controls to fix this. Also found some dimmer switches on Amazon. Has anyone done this? I don’t know if the new switch will fit on my control panel. I’d love to know what others are doing about the lights. They’re horrible! I feel like I’m in a hospital operating room. Not cozy like home at all.

Often, changing the color of the lights can help. Going from Daylight to Soft White, might help.

I have a 2018 270THLE. The lights are also annoyingly bright. The "bulbs" in the lights are not replaceable. They are an LED cluster on a small circuit board.. Some of these type of lights will not work with a standard dimmer. You will need a dimmer that uses pulse width modulation. Instead of decreasing the voltage to the lights, the modulator actually delivers pulses of 12 volts. The shorter the pulse, the less light produced. I have not tried any of these dimmers since we very seldom use the overhead lights.

Not knowing how your lights are made, but supposing there is a lens covering that you can remove, could you put in a filter like those used in stage lighting? back in the day when i ran theater lights we had lots of filters that ran the gamut of colors, intensity, etc. another thought-on residential leds there are little switches that will change the color/intensity : daylight. bright. warm. anything like that on yours? Good luck

Not sure if your unit has the ceiling fan, mine did and this was my fix.
I had to change the entire fan as I could not find a kit for the OEM fan.
