Helo All
I'm thinking about adding Solar to my 201BH - and I would like to know if anyone has done so - and with the roof not being a walk on what would be a safe weight to be considered for the solar panels and how many would be able to be mounted
For me personally, I'm looking at at least 3 - 200 w panels - with a weight of about 80 lbs -
I'm going to take out the Lead Acid Battery, and replace with possibly 2 280Ah Lithium batteries. also putting in a 2500 w Pure Sine Inverter.
what's your thoughts about putting in the back dinette seat area, trying to balance out the additional weight so keeping it around the axel
Thoughts would be apprecuiated and pics if anyone has done the same thing

Hi sir. Question - did you complete this and how did it work? I'm debating on this approach versus an external solar package and running a cable to the battery.

Hello -- I'm starting the process -- I have just put in a 300AH DIY battery, with a 200 a BMS -- I'm now lookingat the Bouge Flex 200w solar panels -- for their lightweight for our non walk on roof -- I'm going to move the batter to under the rear dinette seat and will run the solar wires down the fridge vent - will add in a Solar Converter - and eventually another 300AH batery and at least 2500W inverter
