An update on my 280TH trailer ordered Dec 15th 2020.
After a year of delays we finally received word from our dealer the trailer was in, so on Dec 11 2021 wife & I trekked 2-1/2hrs to the dealership, went over the trailer, completed payment & confirmed we would pick it up the following Friday after registration, plates & all that was completed. It is our dream trailer for boondocking with toys & future winters down south & we are very happy even thou the factory increased price about 8K, at least it's a 2022 instead of a 2021 model! Wed Dec 15th I fell on the ice in my driveway & broke my ankle , surgery the next day (16th) for screws, plates, whatever they put in to rebuild my ankle. So now I'm on my ass all winter, fortunately I have a super good friend that volunteered to go Frid (17th) with his own truck & pick up my trailer, since I had planned a few little upgrades over the winter & we didn't want it travelled once the roads became salt & slush covered all winter, so off he & my wife went to get it. I now have this beautiful dream trailer in my yard that I can't work on, but every time I look out the window after a year waiting, I can see it & that makes me happy!! Tomorrow (Jan 6th) I go for re-evaluation on my ankle & am hopeing for the minimum two more months (Feb) off my foot & not maximum 3 months (March). As you can tell, I am now after only 19 days bored beyond belief, even thou I'm retired, I am used to being up & doing things even if it's only a walk, & thus this long narrative I'm sure no-one cares about but at least I got another 20 mins of this day put in.
Stay safe & healthy, watch for a blue Ram & a new 280TH next yr & I'll buy you a beer
