I would like to hang a privacy curtain in front of the bed in my 2016 spree escape 196s. KZ told me there isn't anything behind the wall board there. If anyone has hung a curtain there please let me know and if possible post some pictures. Thanks

Interested as well. How about a track. In the ceiling?

How about screwing two small hooks into the wall, near the ceiling, then hang a curtain with two eyelets on the ends?
If you want more tension on it, feed a bungee cord thru the curtain.

I just hung a fancy shower curtain using shower curtain rod. Works fine.

We did it with our 196S a few years ago. I attached the RV curtain rod to a 1 1/4" aluminum tube. Installed two angle brackets on the wall. Spans the width of the trailer without any support from the ceiling. There is about a quarter inch gap between the ceiling and rod. Painted them brown. I will post pics if I can figure out how to do it. We also installed curtains over the bunk beds. Kid love it. We never used our curtain. Attachments:

A note of caution is that one needs to be careful that the bottom of the curtain does not snag the slide out on the e196s.

ok I finally got my curtain up. I made two backer boards out of 1/2 inch thick wood, then drilled three holes in each one. I put 3 ez anchor metal wall anchors into the wallboard behind the backer boards. The two outboard holes hold the backer board and the center hole secures the closet pole hanger. I used an 8 foot metal pole I bought at home depot and cut it to fit. It is very sturdy and works like a charm, I can lift the pole and curtain off when I don't need it. I made sure to leave about 6 inches between the top of the pole and the ceiling so the air conditioning could go over it and cool the bed area with the curtain closed.
