I have a 2011 Durango 2500 315 model and my fresh water tank needs to be replaced. I have pulled the belly and removed the cross braces and can not figure out for the life of me how to remove the tank. Tank is floating free but do not have enough room to angle it out? What am I missing? It’s currently like trying to fit a square peg into rounds hole. Here are the steps I did Remove under belly Remove all insulation Disconnected all Hosea and sensors Removed 3 braces I can lift tank move tank left right front to back It appears to be two I beams that are welder to frame which appear to be floor support. They do not seem to move. Any guidance would be helpful

Sometimes the flanges are larger on one side than the other, have you tried lifting up, pushing either back or forward then trying to get one side to drop?

No I have a square tank no flange. Same size on both sides front to back left to right. But thank you

Darn, so it just sits on the supports? It **should** just drop out. Any chance there is some angle iron attached to the crossmembers / floor trusses.

Tried hammering the joists but they are welded in. Some one on another site told me to drop the grey and black then slide it over there to drop out. That just sounds crappy. No pun intended. I fibreglassed around the two lower fittings and hope I sealed the tank enough for this season. It looks To me the tank is larger then what the spec states this could be my issue
