With this half-ton floorplan having 2 toilets, is black tank flushing available for both black water tanks? I also assume needing two sewer hoses connecting to a "Y" adapter. Thank You All, Roy

Do you have a monitor that shows two blank tanks? Check to see if there is a valve or valves to select the tank you want. Failing that, open the drain valves, connect garden hose to the flush inlet, turn on the water and see if water comes out of one. If you have only one expelling water, then cap it and run the water for a minute or two and see if the uncapped one expels water. Do not run water for more time to avoid pressurizing the tank. Also, you could have someone hold the toilet open and listen for flowing water. You may be able to pull down a cover to expose the tanks and know for sure what is going on.

I am looking to buy this model so I was aking if black tank flushing is available for both toilel black tanks. I could not find any info as of yet so I might have to call KZ as one person suggested. I did get to look at a sportster toy hauler with 2 toilets and I did not find a valve panel with a black tank flush hose connect. KZ brochures and literature is lacking of the info. THX, Roy

I would be very leery of having a flush that did both tanks at the same time. I wouldn't want to be filling one tank while trying to flush another. We had an 1999 Wilderness with no tank flush. We just put 3 toilet bowls of water and a deodorant table in it after dumping, towed it home and back to the next campground, and never had an issue with the tank or the sensors. You might want to consider doing that if one of the tanks doesn't have a flush. Not having a flush isn't the worst thing.

I do similar, dump and 3 minutes water flow, estimate 5 gallons a minute, then drive home. Thank is never empty and driving with the water sloshing helps clean.

To answer your question about the Y, yes you can connect the hoses with a Y and it will work fine. I used one on a previous rig. As others have said, traveling with a few gallons of water in your tank will help immensely. Even after flushing the tank I run 3-5 gallons of water in the tank and add treatment. I’ve never had a problem with any of my previous RVs and this Durango is the first one I’ve owned with a built in black water flush. I sure wouldn’t let the lack of a black water flush be a deal breaker if the floor plan works for you.
