My gauges are all over the place on the touch screen. Fresh water tank reads empty then 1/4 full back and forth. Drained the water out of the low point drain, but screen still shows 1/4 full. I flushed the main black tank, but nothing came out the elbow. Left water on for a few minutes, no, erupting toilets, no water flowing through elbow on sewer hose and no water leaking under the RV. The aft black tank however showed almost full after the flush procedure on the front tank. Did I accomplish some sort of magic trick? I have completed a flush before on same RV and worked just fine. Any ideas?

Almost sounds like a short in the wiring or connection somewhere. Usually you never see a false freshwater setting. Not sure what model you have but you have two black tanks for toilets? I know many RV's have two grey tanks, one for shower/bathroom sink and another for the kitchen.

Have a D348BHF. There are 2 black tank flush connections on the Liquid Control Panel. Our touch screen inside RV has a grey, fresh and 2 black tank indicators.

Could be the black tank flush connections may be crossed, time to make sure both black tanks are empty then close the valves, hook up the flush and very carefully watch the level. DO NOT leave the coach with the valves closed and the black tank flush running. With all those tanks it would be all to easy to get crossed up. As been said, its strange for the FW tank monitor to get fouled up, but if you left water in it, there could be some slime in there causing the goofy readings or it's just typical goofy monitor panel behavior. Try raising & lowering the nose of the trailer with the FW tank drain open, sometimes the drain isn't right at the bottom of the tank and it takes is just a touch of water to "trip" a sensor.

Mine will read 1/4 after drain it. Next day is reads empty. Seems just on the inside surface of the tank gives a false reading. Most tank sensors are nothing but metal probes in the tank. A lot depends on how they were installed. My low water probe and the common probe are only about 1-1 1/2 inched apart. Not even close to 1/3 full.
