OK I can do that. Where is the basement wall located? We are going up on the 10th to look at it and if we like it we will buy it. We are getting very very excited about it. I assume that we need water running though it to check for leaks? They are in the basement storage area, obvious when you look under. In the Sportsmen you are looking at there is going to be no "basement walls". The unit is not a 5th-Wheel and there is no such thing. The trailer floor is built on top of the frame and all passthrough storage is above the top of the frame and above the trailer floor. Any walls in the passthroughs will just get you to the bedroom below the bed or into the bunkhouse above the trailer floor. In the front passthrough there is likely a little bump out cover you can remove for access to the water pump. That is it. All the wiring and plumbing will be in the frame between the coroplast and the trailer floor (inaccessible without removing coroplast), behind cabinetry, or in the walls. Heater duct connections will be behind the air intake grill in the kitchen under the stove. Hot water heater is in the back under the bunks, and there should be an access panel you can remove if needed.

Well I went and bought it. It is practically brand new. The worst thing on it that needed fixing was the screw to the bottom bunk that is meant to hold it up was not screwed into a stud. Got that and a few other minor things fixed and it looks great. I also had to fix the cover to the water pump because the staples had come out. Checked the bottom and it is inclosed and insulated (I can see the insulation coming out of the underbelly cover by the drain pipes). We are incredibly excited for this coming camping season. I will check for leaks when I summerize it since it is too cold still here to do it safely. And the best part was that it towed like a dream all the way home.
