Our slide out in our 261rb is coming apart at the bottom rear of the slide out. The bottom has pulled loose from the side wall of their slide. We just bought this in February of this year and have only been out in it 5 times. I guess it is off to the dealer to get this fixed. **sigh**
anyone else experiencing this with your slide outs?

Sorry you are dealing with this. So far our 2019 C 261RB has not had that problem. I hope it's a quick fix

Are you putting heavy items on/in the slide out while it's retracted in the trailer? From my understanding the floor is not supported whatsoever. If it's items from the factory that are there, it'll definitely be a warranty issue. For my 241RLK, the only things are linens and blankets under the dinette seats, nothing else. Good luck!

No we only used the trailer one night and had a window leak and noticed the table was not level. We Took it to the dealer and they fixed the leak and adjusted the slideout, but when they put it out to show us it was level it made an awful sound. They told us to leave it for further investigation. We were told today the entire slideout needed to be removed because the staples had pulled away from the floor..

helo,
new to this forum but i figured i add my particular senario and how i intended to fix it.
323RK-2021
My slide out on the drivers side that is part of the recliner area has started to come apart and when i say appart its busted one of the seams and the lower seals are falling off it i have the trailer in an rv park at this time and this is a pretty new discovery ive found amongst many problems ive had.
That said i will not be taking this in for warranty issuesthese in my mind should be fixxed with an intention on putting it back together the way you would build an RV as opposed to what we have been offered when we purchased our rigs. Im not displeased with my 323rk im just disappointed that i have to repair it.
ok, ill try and add pictures today but what we are going to do is set blocks and try and to work the board back up to the exact line it should be on the flooring partical board piece has a big bow in it and is a cresent to where it should be. We are going to set blocks and jack this slide up to realign it. right now my train of thought is to add more and deeper fastners to the edge so that this doesnt happen again, that said id like to possibly strenthen that board with some resin or a flange i havent really decided its not rotten its just given way. i believe this has to do with temperature moisture and lack of fastners. there seem to be ample amounts of factory screws but they arent that long and what its done is make the edge of the board where i cant just shoot screws back in it without repairing the board. I happen to work in fiberglass heavy industry so its pretty easy to use a resin based product to strenghtnen this edge and then add a longer fastner and more of them.
The Seal is another thing looks like it was shot in with 7/8 staples. ok, neither of the other 2 slides have this problem but this one is coming apart. if i pull it again im sure this bottom seal will tear and drop or not be there when i get where im going. Im going to remove it and use an adhesive and better fastners than what was previously used.
If i cant get to this today i will with in the next week or so and ill add pictures showing how my GF have repaired this for anyone that has a DIY approach as i do to this pesky tasks that came with these trailers.
I have a laundry list of problems ive repaired that i didnt want to give up my camper for 2-3 months for. we have repaired 90% of the some odd 10-15 issues ive had of which i think like the slides 5 were MAJOR problems.
This is the first camper i have ever purchased new. i wanted few years of no problems im of the opinon there are no such things in existance.
Ill be back at ya on this with how we get this done. i expect about a 4 hour work window surrounding this repair. not incuding getting materials
Have a good one !
